Opportunity to receive a master's scholarship for English teachers

The British Council sponsors a full scholarship for the online TESOL master's program at the University of Ulster (UK) for English teachers and lecturers in Vietnam.

Within the framework of the UK/Vietnam Season 2023 program, marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the UK and the 30th anniversary of the British Council's operation in Vietnam, the British Council and Ulster University cooperated provides 9 full master's scholarships for teachers who are teaching English in the education system from high school to university in Vietnam.

The program aims to demonstrate the British Council's efforts in fulfilling its commitment in the cooperation program with the Ministry of Education and Training, the National Foreign Language Project, and at the same time, creating opportunities for English teachers to develop Professional development, full potential. The unit expects that after completing the program, the selected teachers will use their knowledge and skills to develop the quality of English teaching in Vietnam.

Candidates need to apply for the master's program TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) online at the University of Ulster between April 28 and May 29. In parallel, the two units coordinated to organize an online information sharing session about the scholarship program on April 28 and May 12 to provide detailed information to candidates.

Candidates are selected to study online for two years from October 2023 to summer 2025. In addition, students have the opportunity to visit Ulster University for two weeks in the summer of 2024 to apply the theory. theory into practice with a teaching position at a British school.
